Matthew 6 (TNIV)
Giving 1 "Be careful not to do your 'acts of righteousness' in front of others, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.
2 "So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 3 But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you."
We just received a gift in the mail from an anonymous donor.... I am speechless.
To the giver:
No words can't accurately convey how grateful I am to you. We've are undeserving but God has seen fit to bless us by His grace through you. I just wanted to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
My prayer is, and has been, that one day God will allow us to be in a position to do for someone else what you have done for us. God bless you in all that you do!
