Positive Post Tuesday

My awesome husband wrote a very sweet post about me today and it encouraged me to follow the trend about posting something positive. So Nathaniel, this is to you :)

First off, I have one hunky husband, wouldn't you agree??

Like he said in his post we are VERY VERY VERY different. Nate is driven, he's an achiever, he likes things in order and with purpose. He likes to get things done. He doesn't like surprises (hee hee). He likes the bed made when he comes home :) and dinner at least on it's way to being ready. He's neat and tidy and likes right angles. He makes to do lists and plans his days. And in addition to all these things, he is very serious. Now just imagine the complete opposite and you've got me! :)

The beautiful thing about Nate is he is continually offering me grace. Instead of verbally beating me up, he lifts me up. He tries to speak my love language (which his is the opposite of mine, go figure). He serves our family and makes family a very high priority. He's not afraid to say the truth which is a rare thing in this world. He doesn't say much, but when he does it is articulate and well thought out. He is beautifully balanced in his thought processes and the way he lives his life.

Nathaniel, it is a privilege to be married to you and being married to you has made me a better person. I love you. :)

OK, so I do think he's cute, but then what would you expect his mommy to say? Nathaniel has become a wonderful husband, provider, daddy, spiritual leader, son, and friend and I don't think any mom could hope for more! So, yes you are blessed to have him as a husband and he is just as blessed to have you as his wife.

I read Nate's post and teared up, and then linked to your myspace page and teared up and now I link to your page and tear up. What's wrong w/ you people? Trying to screw up a girls' mascara over here.

Could you love each other anymore? Beautiful.
